This policy explains how Nationwide Food Systems Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on nfsystems.co.uk. Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in much the same way.
Cookies we always use
These are needed for the website to work and to keep it secure, so they cannot be switched off. They do not identify you.
nationwide-food-systems-session – keeps the website working as you move between pages. Expires after 2 hours.
XSRF-TOKEN – protects our enquiry form from forged submissions. Expires after 2 hours.
consentBannerDefault (local storage) – remembers your cookie choices so we do not ask again on every page. Kept until you change your choices or clear your browser.
Analytics cookies (optional)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed most, so we can improve it. Google processes this information on our behalf.
_ga – distinguishes one visitor from another. Expires after 2 years.
ga0FSDE2XC7Z – keeps track of your visit. Expires after 2 years.
Marketing cookies (optional)
With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel to measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
_fbp – recognises your browser when you return. Expires after 90 days.
_fbc – set only if you arrive by clicking one of our Facebook or Instagram adverts. Expires after 90 days.
lastExternalReferrer and lastExternalReferrerTime (local storage) – record which website sent you to us.
Other services on our pages
YouTube video – the video on our home page is played through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). It does not set cookies, but YouTube saves a small amount of information in your browser to run the player. See Google's privacy policy.
Cloudflare Turnstile – protects our enquiry form from spam by checking that a person, not a program, is filling it in. It does not set cookies. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Changing your choices
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Manage consent link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent stops new optional cookies being set. To remove ones already saved, clear them in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block cookies altogether, although some parts of the site may then not work properly.
For more about cookies, visit the Information Commissioner's Office.
